We are very happy with our stay at Trident. The room was spacious, clean, and very well maintained. The hotel is within walkable distance from the bus stand and railway station. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and quick. All the staff, including the reception team, housekeeping, and restaurant staff, were very polite, professional, and prompt in their service. Special thanks to Chandra Mohan and the restaurant staff for serving us very tasty and high-quality food despite the shortage of commercial cylinders. The hotel also arranged a car for our sightseeing trips through their travel agency partner. Our driver, Augustine, was very patient and polite. Thanks to Augustine and Devaraj for making our sightseeing trips so enjoyable.Overall, a very pleasant stay. ~ Gunasekaran K

I stayed at Trident for 4 days and 3 nights (Nov ’25). It was a truly pleasant experience, and the hospitality was exceptional. They provide individual Wi-Fi access for each room, which adds to the overall comfort. I booked without any expectations, but the service here genuinely exceeded them. The hotel is located very close to the bus stand, making it easy to access all the sights with proper planning. They also offer a travel desk, which we opted for since I was tired after traveling 600 km to Ooty. Adam from the travel desk and our cab driver, Augestin, were extremely polite, provided all the necessary information, and ensured we covered all the major sightseeing spots comfortably. Ooty's Gem - we are from Mauritius Island and we stayed one night in Trident hotel ooty, luxury great room very spacious, tv was 50inch with wifi youtube, awesome service by ARON and all the staffs, comfortable bed very clean! We slept like babies after a long day in ooty, no noise to disturb or heavy sunlight in the morning, very nicely designed room, service within seconds if asked for any more facilities! The restaurant is so great and the morning breakfast was so great that we ate all without wastage, the whole staff bid us goodbye as a family and it was a touching moment for us. We shall definitely come back again if god wishes. Our driver got blankets pillows and breakfast and was taken great care and got a great secured parking! ~ Ravi B

A wonderful place to stay in. Very friendly, courteous staff, ever eager to serve. Food quality is excellent. Close to bus stand and railway station. It was a customer delight in stay here. All the best. friendly family stay atmosphere and ambience. However, need a couple of additional facilities for senior citizens. 1. Grab rails in bath room and shower area. 2. Anti skid mats 3. Main door at entrance is heavy and difficult to open, especially for we senior citizens. 4. The trident board at the entrance adjecant to the church entrance is camouflaged by another board. I visited Hotel Trident two months back with my wife and 1.5-year old child, and we had an absolutely memorable stay. There's a standard in hospitality that travellers seek. That influences the experience and memories that we take back home. Trident in Ooty is not only at the heart of the city, but also very close to public transportation points. What more, the food is unbelievably amazing, whether you like vegetarian or non-vegetarian cuisines; starters, beverages or main-course- all are meals to remember!! Talking about the stay, the rooms were incredibly spacious, the washrooms had round the clock availability of hot water, and hygiene so good that will totally make you question the other hotels which are so reckless on this parameter. I am totally going to rely on this stay for my family. Will definitely recommend every friend to consider this as a top-choice for their stay in Ooty. I had a wonderful stay in this hotel. Here are the pros and cons during my stay: Pros: Friendly and supportive staff. Food is good with reasonable price. Good car parking Room booking and confirmation received on time with prompt service Nice flowers decoration at the front Cons: Not cons as such but I am writing here so that hotel will keep in mind in future. Although Ooty is a cool place now a days due to summer., definitely fan or ac is a must so that we can use on need basis. Summers are pretty hot at afternoons I felt the need of fan or ac. Considering the price they are charging ( for stay pricing is on par with top class hotels), they can have some indoor games, etc., for kids Noticed some flys in rooms and corridors Overall, It was a perfect stay. The first team is very polite and their staff are very respectful and well mannered. Also, you should take their food and say that they make it in a good way. It's very nice. Also, after talking and asking what kind of food we want, it's a very good experience. Also it is right in the town and very easy to reach there and go everywhere from there their room service is very nice also they maintain the room in a very good way I decided to go there again if I come to Ooty me and my family were very happy their manners and other things are very pleasing to mention their breakfast was very nice Reasonable price for everything. ~ anas m

Trident, we bought Delux Two rooms .. Awesome interior ...Narrow entry Room design super... No Air-condition natural ventilation . Food tasty spicy ..salty and milk shake too much sweet. Break fast okay Average but morning no juice again. Limited options in breakfast. Lunch and dinner menu..along with soup. Cost wise expensive i got two deluxe rooms for 13000 rs ..where as next day I booked family combo..costing only 6500rs. Food expensive than outside resturant. Room service no one come and enquire what u need .. For family rooms no split bed room for children both combined King size. Rest beautiful location. ~ Sunil R

LOCATION: This hotel is at the heart of the city...has access to everything. We stayed for one night as we were traveling from Coimbatore to Bangalore via Bandipur. ROOMS: The rooms were neat and clean. Very well maintained. Had a heater and all basic necessities required for a comfortable stay. FOOD: We had ordered for in room dining and to our surprise the food was too good. My top recommendations would be Chilli garlic fried rice and Chilly Chicken (this was recommended by the management too) The next morning we had breakfast before we left. 1.Staff is well attired , easy to communicate in Hindi as well as English and Tamil. 2. The stay was pleasant with Good Ambience . 3. Rooms were kept clean everyday in spite of dinner plates being removed a bit late in the morning. 4. Dining place is good to have it ( Though outside Temp is 12°C ) . 5. Very Good place for Family with no smoking policy. 6. It's 10 out of 10, best experience. Pros: Mohan, the manager of the hotel is very prominent and always try to fullfill the requests. Walkable distance from bus and train stations. Located in the main city centre but still gives calm vibes. Rooms are very good, clean and spacious. Food is good, had dinner and breakfast, and both were upto mark, they have same options and menu as the benchmark tea factory. I guess they have same owner or vendor. Cab arrangements for site seeing are very fast and easy. Cons: A bit on the pricier side but when we see advantages of being near to every facility, it's all worth. ~ Suraj P

The hotel is located a few steps away from the bus stop and train station. Restaurants are available at a closer distance to the hotel. For the price we paid, what I think was worth it is the maintenance of the rooms. The room is nice and clean. Easily accommodates three people on a bed (spacious and comfy) The staff is kind and polite. The breakfast was complimentary and everything was served hot and delicious. Best hotel for family stay. Hotel location is very near to Ooty bus stand and atmosphere is very silent and no rush. Centre for all tourist place. Room was neat and clean. Room size also very big. Their service teams was very much friendly. Their complimentary break fast is very gd compare to other branded restaurant in Ooty. Car parking also available. They provided complimentary breakfast for driver also they have refreshment area for drivers. But one thing who is looking for balcony view, that rooms are under renovation. Stayed here for 2 nights with friends and family. The place is walk-able distance from city bus stand and toy train railway station. Ample parking space. Rooms are large in size with wooden flooring. Large sized washroom. Ala-carte menu food available which was tasty and we all liked it (except the non-veg items). Room heaters available on demand with separate charges. During our stay we faced wifi coverage issues in 2 of our corner assigned rooms on floor which couldn't be resolved by hotel management. ~ sahuabhii

This hotel is located at walking distance from the bus stand, newly launched. Rooms are big, washrooms are clean and nice. Rent is also very decent, booked through Make My Trip. Food is very good and at reasonable rate. They have got parking for minibus and many cars. Staff is very nice. Morning breakfast is order based and we liked it. For tripple occupancy, their bed is large enough. Otherwise, one need to manage on Sofa. On request, they will provide room heater. Some staff speak good Hindi. Many speak English. My experience with Trident was phenomenal starting from check in to goodbye..Front desk staffs Sampath and Rithik treat us with smile and helping nature..The rooms are spacious and cozy the rest room are neat..you will have very close proximity to the bus stand and central Ooty. The only drawback here is rooms doesn't get any natural lighting and views but that's understandable because you are staying right in the heart of the town. Foods was good 😋😋 and quantity also high.The rooms are very spacious and clean. Its nearby Ooty Bus stand, I would recommend highly for safe and secure stay and book directly without checking the review thanks to Mohan / Saravanan and other staffs as well.
